A wonderful place for people of all ages, Astra Museum covers a total area of 96 ha filled with Romanian traditional history and beauty. Mills, houses, wood carriers and many many more big and smaller old style items. I even saw a few older people who looked as if they are actually living there. I saw a particular man who was feeding the animals then he went into an old looking house and stayed there.
As soon as I went inside the first traditional house, I was partially sent back to my summer holiday vacations. When I was a kid we were usually sent to our relatives who were still living on the country side and we spend the summer holiday there. What a great time to be alive that was. No cellphones, no internet, sometimes even no lights on those country roads. I remember when I was playing cards with village kids and the night was coming, we had to stop playing because there were no lights installed on the roads yet.
Anyway, beautiful and big place to visit. I stayed there until the last minute of my time and I still have not been taking photos of everything I could. One full battery of my Sony a6000 was drained only in this place.
